When Richard Reindhart was first diagnosed with Dyslexia when he was a child, he knew he would not let some labeling by the school system get in his way of achieving his dreams and finding success. "A lot of people growing up told me that I was 'disabled' and would not be able to accomplish much in life. I saw what I had as an opportunity to be creative and solve life's problems by thinking outside the box." It's this kind of positiveness that has helped Reindhart become an entrepreneur and enabled him to help others.

With a background in marketing and experience in the direct sales industry, Reindhart is packed with the skills and expertise needed to help small business owners and non-profits grow. With 55% of all searches done on mobile phones and advent of Smart Phones revolutionizing and taking over the industry, it is a smart move to have a consultant guiding you along the way to make the most of your small business.

Every once in a while, a leader emerges from the ashes, soaring to new heights and setting the bar to higher levels while creating opportunities for those that are willing to follow. Yasmine Mustafa is that leader. New technologies and mobile apps seem to be cropping up everywhere these days, and Philly is certainly no exception to this growing, versatile market. Dubbed as the "New Silicon Valley" just a week ago by a popular news article (more on that later), Philadelphia is housing new disruptions that are aimed to solve our problems and make life a heck of a lot easier. One of such innovators to add to this perplexing equation is the company VUID, lead by CEO and founder Kevin Brophy, who has found a way to enhance our lives by making content more accessible to our smart-phones and simplifying our busy lives. I had the distinct privelege to sit-down with this up and coming entrepreneur star in an exclusive interview you'll only see here on Small Biz Philly:

I do not remember the last time I actually read a novel from beginning to end without stopping somewhere in the middle of the story to jump to yet another book in my always growing library. My A.D.D. mind usually cannot sustain itself to read more than 100 pages without switching titles, but I must say, Busted had me hooked. Never have I read such a gripping tale with so much jam-packed themes rolled into one page-turner, representing the city I am from (Philadelphia), the people I represent (my Boricuas), and the shared, bad experiences of running into crooked cops.

Busted begins like a scene straight out of a Tom Clancy thriller, with two real-life investigative reporters [Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker] at the helm of this turbulent ship called The Daily News, navigating their way through the murky waters of Philadelphia, where blood-thirsty sharks known as rogue police officers and conspiracy theorists are running rampant in a wild jungle with broken rules and tough egos to fill. At the epicenter of this hectic and confusing investigation is a young man named Benny Martinez, who comes into the office of the struggling newspaper fearful for his life. A former drug dealer turned police informant, he finds out his very existence is in danger when his partner, officer Jeffrey Cujdik, of the Philadelphia Police Department's Narcotics Field Unit, squeals on him and sets him up. After being Benny's Landlord, even though there are rules clearly against this, Cujdik evicts Benny and now he needs a place to stay and come to Ruderman and Laker for help.

For local entrepreneur Rachel Zeldin, coming up with the next best thing in the website advisory field was very natural. “As my family painfully navigated the funeral planning process for my great uncle Rafe, I found a gaping hole in the market for information and community approval on services in the funeral planning arena,” she asserts ever so confidently. “After an exhaustive search for something useful to help with all the decisions that had to be made, I found nothing, so I decided to create an opportunity where none existed.”
